Sparrow and Lilies
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" -Matthew 6:26
I pray this painting reminds you of this incredible teaching from Jesus. It's located in Matthew 6:25-34 where Jesus tells us, "do not worry!" God cares for the birds and dresses the lilies, but how much more does your Father care for you?
I pray that as you look at this sparrow and see the lilies, that you would remember to let go of the worries and look to your Father. I pray that His peace would wash over you as you remember His amazing love for you! He is watching over your and knows your needs before you even ask.
Turn your eyes to Him, seek His presence, and you will find everything you need.
As Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."
