The Secret Place
He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions,
And under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and a wall. -Psalm 91:4
There is nothing better than resting in the arms of YHWH. The peace of His presence feels like fresh snow falling over our hearts; it brings a beautiful stillness that quiets our minds and covers our weakness. The weight that burdened us is lifted and it becomes easier to breathe again. Our hearts find healing and hope is restored just by being near Him.
As we dwell in the secret place of the Lord, our thirsty soul is satisfied. The chaos and worries of life are silenced as we rest in the shadow of our Defender. It is where our soul is restored and strengthened to face the road before us. Everything we need can be found in His presence.
I pray that this painting would remind you to enter into that secret place today. God is calling you unto Himself. He is wrapping His mighty wings around you to protect you and give you rest.
