Out of the Grave
With Easter just a few days away, we’re reminded of a truth that changes everything! Our lives have been redeemed by Jesus, the Lamb of God. He bore our guilt, carried our sin, and conquered death so that we could walk in newness of life!
But let’s be honest--it’s easy to forget that sometimes. We get caught up in old habits, old mindsets, and the comfort of familiar patterns. Instead of living transformed lives with renewed minds, we stay wrapped in our grave clothes. We linger in the tomb of who we used to be, missing out on the freedom Christ died to give us.
But friend, the tomb is empty--and you don’t have to live there anymore!
It’s time to take off the grave clothes!!
Take off the old identity--Not Enough, Unworthy, Broken, Worthless.
That’s not your name anymore.
You are a Child of God!
Beloved. Redeemed. Made Whole.
Worthy--not because of what you’ve done, but because of what He did!
So shake off the dust of guilt and shame. Step out of the shadows of the past.
Leave the grave behind and run to Jesus. Resurrection life is yours, and it’s time to live like it!
