Our King's Delight
This painting is so special to me. During a local worship night, I asked God to show me something new. As I prayed, I saw a quick image in my mind—my hand, completely covered in paint!
It made me laugh—God really does have the most creative ideas sometimes!
So I went for it.
I started finger painting. And it was so much fun! I felt like a little kid again—free, joyful, just playing with color. About 30 minutes in, I picked up a brush to add more detail—but honestly? God had already answered my prayer by then.
It was such a sweet reminder to simply come to the heart of our King as His child.
It’s easy to get caught up in standing strong and fighting the good fight. But sometimes, we just need to rest. To be held. To be loved.
Before we face the world, we come to our Father—like little lambs to their Shepherd. Abide in Him, delight in Him, and He will strengthen you for whatever comes next.
