Psalm 23
"The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides still waters, and He restores my soul." -Psalm 23:1-2
You are precious in the eyes of God. He cares for you so deeply, like a Shepherd cares for His sheep. He knows your needs and is ready to meet every one of them. He calls us into a place of rest for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
Resting can be one of the hardest things to do at times. With the never ending commitments and to-do lists, it's difficult to prioritize being still with God. But it's in those moments of resting in His presence that we are filled. It's in resting with Him that we are reenergized to do all He has called us to.
So rest, little one. God's got you.
