Changed and Transformed
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" -2 Corinthians 5:17
The metamorphosis of a butterfly is such an incredible process. The way it begins life as a caterpillar, creates the chrysalis, and transforms into an incredibly winged beauty is absolutely amazing.
And yet, it hardly compares to the transformation we can experience through Christ.
When we willingly humble ourselves and submit to the process, God transforms our minds and hearts. He makes the broken heart whole. He takes the depressed and anxious and gives them joy and peace. He makes us a new creation!
I pray this piece would be a reminder that you don't have to live life as your former self. You don't have to stay stuck in the past. God has called you to so much more!
