The Invitation
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
-Matthew 11:28
It becomes so easy to get carried away with the cares of this world. Having a mindset to hustle and produce is normal in our culture. Giving every ounce of energy just to make it through another day is how many people go through life.
But Jesus invites us to come to Him. He promises to give us rest.
He desires to refill your cup and refresh your soul. He is always calling us to come and sit in His presence; to abide in His house all the days of our lives. There is always an open invitation waiting for us to come spend time with the One who gives us life.
To me, this lion looks like Christ sitting and waiting for us to come to Him and find rest.
